Healthcare Industry Veterans Bring Expertise to Growing Company
BOULDER, Colo., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy,
Inc. has appointed Karen Bowling of Solantic Urgent Walk-In Care and Joel
Liffman of Oracle Strategic Partners to its Board of Directors. Both Ms.
Bowling and Mr. Liffman expect to leverage their extensive experience and
leadership to assist Pharmaca in expanding its differentiated pharmacy
retailing model throughout the country.

Ms. Bowling has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Currently, she is the president of Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care, where she
directed the opening of six centers in 2002-2003. Prior to Solantic, Ms.
Bowling led several companies in marketing capacities, including vice
president of marketing for CyberGuard Corporation and assistant vice president
of marketing for Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation.
Mr. Liffman has been an investment partner for Oracle Strategic Partners
since 1996 where he is primarily responsible for the management of $180
million private equity fund. Prior to Oracle, he worked with Medco
Containment Services to develop a strategic acquisition program, eventually
leading to a role integrating the company with Merck after it purchased Medco
in 1993.
