SYMPHONY Application Installed at the County Clerk's Office in Broome County,
N.Y.
DALLAS, June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SOURCECORP, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRCP),
a leading provider of consulting and business process outsourcing solutions,
announced that its Exigent Computer Group unit has successfully completed the
installation of the Exigent SYMPHONY system at the County Clerk's office in
Broome County, NY. The total installation was accomplished in a four month
timeframe.
SYMPHONY is a comprehensive County Clerk/Recorder Document Management
System offering integrated advanced technologies such as Internet and Intranet
Access, Digital eRecording, and Imaging Workflow to provide recording,
cashiering, scanning, mortgage tax tracking, indexing and verifying of land
documents. The system also supports many other County Recorder functions.
The implementation of SYMPHONY can enhance the productivity in the County
office and improve office operations.
One of the many benefits to Broome County was the ability to use existing
IBM hardware and document imaging software, which reduced training and
procurement costs. The flexible system architecture allowed many new
functions to be implemented based on the mutually developed system design.
"Broome County chose Exigent because of their flexibility in meeting our
requirements and their commitment to meeting our installation date," said
Barbara Fiala, Broome County Clerk.
"Exigent Computer Group has been successful in assisting county clerks
across the country with our SYMPHONY software application. We are proud to
add Broome County to our list of successful installations," said Ralph Mele,
President of Exigent Computer Group.
