         Company's HDTV-Over-IP Technology Is First Broadcast-Quality
     Streaming Software to Support Intel's Latest Processor Architecture

ThunderCastIP HDTV server software will be used by Intel CEO Craig Barrett in
his upcoming European tour, during which he will be demonstrating Intel's new
64-bit Itanium processor running on a server using Microsoft's new Windows XP
operating system.  2netFX said that ThunderCast is the first and only
enterprise streaming server software with the capability of running on Intel's
new 64-bit processor architecture.

    Aggerbeck also stated that Itanium's large cache memory, 64-bit
addressability, and high-bandwidth bus make it well suited for applications
with the ThunderCastIP HDTV Server.
    ThunderCastIP HDTV is the first videocasting server capable of streaming
the richest quality high-definition (HD) programs via IP/multicast across
broadband internets.  HD programs can be compressed in real time to between 10
to 50 Mbps for live streaming requirements.  Prerecorded HD content can also
be streamed.  Engineered into the unit are exceptional server features such as
video-on-demand, remote web-based management, program scheduling, multiple
live encoder support, QoS options, group management, asset management, and
support for MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, with options to extend to MPEG-4.  Playback
devices can be standard PCs or popular set-top appliances, which output to
standard HD sets or PC monitors.
    The ThunderCast server will be used as part of Barrett's upcoming European
demonstrations showcasing the Itanium's immense capabilities.  The 2netFX
streaming software will be used to stream HD video content from an Itanium
server to a Pentium 4 system over gigabit Ethernet.
    Intel officials said the Itanium processor is the first in a family of 64-
bit products it plans to introduce. Based on Intel's latest architecture,
called Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing (EPIC), Itanium's design
enables breakthrough capabilities in processing terabytes of data, speeding
protected on-line purchases and transactions, and processing complex
computations.  The company added that the Itanium-based systems target the
most demanding enterprise and high-performance computing applications.
