streaming media, today announced a new release of its flagship product, the
Agility Enterprise(TM) encoding platform, which ships with an optional field-
tested client interface that blends the interactivity of a high-end production
application with the power and integrated workflow of an enterprise-class
software platform.
Anystream made the announcement at Streaming Media West, currently
underway.

Unique to Agility Enterprise 1.5, video professionals can interactively
preview encoding jobs and retain full control over a wide range of advanced
preprocessing features -- such as color range expansion, temporal smoothing,
noise reduction, gamma correction and many more -- during the encoding
workflow. The Agility Enterprise 1.5 interface also provides easy-to-use
menus that guide the user through Anystream's trademark automated workflow:
acquiring content from a live or tape feed or digital file; interactive
preprocessing; encoding into all major streaming media formats simultaneously
(including Real(R), Microsoft(R), QuickTime(R)); and routing via client-
specified destinations and schedules to any streaming media server accessible
via the Internet.
Agility Enterprise delivers streaming automation for both video-on-demand
and live webcasting applications, where Anystream has introduced several new
capabilities. In addition to the existing ability to output multiple
simultaneous live streams in different formats, each Agility Enterprise node
can now support multiple video inputs through the installation of additional
live capture cards. With this new capability, each webcast node in an Agility
Enterprise deployment can webcast multiple, independent video feeds, with each
feed encoded in multiple streaming formats and bit rates.
