Mintz Levin Attorneys to Speak at Major Biotechnology Meeting

    BOSTON, June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Four attorneys from Mintz, Levin, Cohn,
Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. will speak at the Biotechnology Industry
Organization's BIO 2001 International Biotechnology Convention & Exhibition,
which will be held June 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center.  More than
12,000 biotech industry leaders and executives from around the world are
expected to gather, showcasing the latest advances in health care,
agriculture, industrial manufacturing and environmental management.
    On Monday, June 25, Linda A. Bentley will chair a session entitled,
"Website.com - Guidelines for Product Disclosure in Light of FDA, SEC and FTC
Regulations."  Bentley is Of Counsel in Mintz Levin's Boston office,
practicing in the Health Care Section.  Also speaking will be William T.
Whelan, a member in Mintz Levin's Business and Finance Section in Boston.
    Jeffrey Wiesen, a member in Mintz Levin's Boston office and Chairman of
the firm's Biotechnology Practice, will chair and speak at a session on
Tuesday on the subject of "Beyond Licensing - Models for Sharing Risk and
Reward."  And on Wednesday, Raymond S. Fersko, a member in Mintz Levin's New
York office, will speak as part of a panel on "Managing the Deal for Success:
Biotech to Biotech, Biotech to Pharma."
    BIO 2001 is the largest biotechnology exhibition of its kind.  The
