SPOKANE, Wash., June 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Daybreak Oil and Gas,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DBRM.OB) a Washington Corporation, today
announced that Daybreak has acquired a 50% working interest in the North
Shuteston Project in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
Daybreak has elected to participate for a 50% working interest in a
2,500 foot test of a Miocene Sand.
The Richter No. 1 Well will test a low risk 3-D seismic supported
shallow amplitude anomaly at a depth of 2500 feet. This seismic hydrocarbon
indicator (HCI) is analogous to an identical HCI located 2 miles south on
the same structural ridge, which was tested productive by the Sun -
Burleigh-Miller # 5 Well in a down dip position.
A pipeline is located approximately 2 miles from the proposed well
location. South Louisiana spot gas prices are anticipated.
