OKLAHOMA CITY, June 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Devon Energy
Corporation (NYSE: DVN) announced today that Frank W. Rudolph, 50, will be
joining Devon as senior vice president, human resources. As senior vice
president, Rudolph will serve on the company's executive committee. He will
report to Devon's president, John Richels.

attract, retain and develop the kind of quality talent that is essential to

Rudolph joins Devon with more than 25 years experience in human
resources within a variety of industries including printing, supply chain
management, packaging, manufacturing, refining and communications. Most
recently, Rudolph was vice president of human resources for Banta
Corporation.
Rudolph earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University
and a graduate degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He is on the board
of directors of the Wisconsin Foundation of Independent Colleges.
