Group, India's second largest mobile operator, and fourth largest wireline
operator, has selected MetaSolv's M6 inventory and order management solution
to automate delivery of its telecom services offerings. In the first phase of
the deployment, M6 will enable Bharti to streamline delivery of traditional
TDM Leased Lines/IP VPN and Metro Ethernet services over its optical backbone
network.
Future plans include extending the MetaSolv solution to additional
technology domains such as MPLS, ATM/FR, DSL, and VoIP. The first phase of
the implementation of the MetaSolv solution is scheduled to be completed later
this year, and will be delivered by Wipro, a global MetaSolv delivery partner.
