Michael H. Jordan, Andrew Heyward and Alan J. Hirschfield Named to CBS MarketWatch Board of Directors

    NEW YORK, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- MarketWatch.com, L.L.C. announced today
that Michael H. Jordan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBS
Corporation, Andrew Heyward, President of CBS News, and Alan J. Hirschfield,
Co-Chief Executive Officer of Data Broadcasting Corporation, have been elected
to the corporation's board of directors.

    Michael H. Jordan became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBS
Corporation in December, 1997, when Westinghouse Electric Corporation was
renamed CBS Corporation.  Since joining Westinghouse as Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer in June, 1993, Mr. Jordan has led one of the most
comprehensive transformations of a major U.S. corporation.  Prior to
Westinghouse, he was a partner with Clayton, Dublier and Rice, a private
investment firm, and spent 18 years with PepsiCo in senior management
positions including Chief Financial Officer and President of PepsiCo, Inc.
From 1964 to 1974, Mr. Jordan was a consultant and principal with McKinsey &
Company.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The
College Fund/UNCF and Chairman of the Policy Board of the Americans for the
Arts.
    Andrew Heyward has been President of CBS News since January, 1996, and
oversees all activity of the CBS News Division including CBS News/Radio.
Previously, he has been Executive Producer for CBS EVENING NEWS and a vice
president of CBS News since October, 1994.  In his 22 years with CBS, Mr.
Heyward has won 12 national Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and an Edward R.
Murrow Brotherhood Award.  Mr. Heyward was responsible for developing and
launching 48 HOURS, the Network's primetime news hour, and served as the
show's executive producer from 1988 to 1993.  He began his career as a news
writer for WCBS-TV in New York in 1976 and was the Executive Producer of the
station's "The Six O'Clock Report" from 1978 to 1981.
    Alan J. Hirschfield is the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Data Broadcasting
Corporation, America's leading provider of real-time market data to the
individual investor and trader.  Mr. Hirschfield and Allan R. Tessler, Co-
Chief Executive Officers of Data Broadcasting Corporation, were responsible
for the restructuring of Financial New Network Inc. that led to the formation
of Data Broadcasting Corporation in 1992.  Mr. Hirschfield is well known in
the Entertainment/Media industry having served as Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation from 1980 to 1986 and as
President and Chief Executive Officer of Columbia Pictures, Inc. from 1973 to
1978.  He began his career in 1959 as a Vice President with Allen & Co.,
investment bankers.  He currently serves as a Director of the National Museum
of the American Indian and has been a trustee of the American Film Institute
