announced that the number of FABmaster(R) CAD-to-test systems shipped to
Teradyne under the terms of OEM agreements signed since 1993 has exceeded
400 units. The FABmaster(R) software is integrated into Teradyne's
Momentum(TM) and Spectrum(TM) APG (Automatic Program Generator) programming
environment which eliminates fixture design and test program development
bottlenecks. Automating the whole process from CAD data recovery, through
test fixture design to input list generation, FABmaster helps users of
Teradyne Z1800-series, Spectrum and Flying Probe testers to get their products
to the market faster.
FABmaster software is used at more than 250 Teradyne customer sites
representing all sectors of the electronics manufacturing industry, including
contract manufacturing, consumer electronics and telecommunications.
