SAN DIEGO, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Space and biotechnology will rendezvous
on June 24-25 during the BIO 2001 conference at the San Diego Convention
Center. Media representatives are invited to explore the "Space Station
Imagination" Exhibit and meet with astronauts and other representatives to
discuss how NASA and BIO are "Partnering for Life."

activities.
Dr. Kathie Olsen, Acting Assistant NASA Administrator and Chief Scientist,
will speak to BIO 2001 at the Plenary Luncheon on Monday, and will outline the
newly agreed-upon language of a memorandum of understanding between NASA and
BIO that will push these programs forward.
