First Data Corp. to Release Second Quarter 2003 Earnings

                  CEO Charlie Fote Will Host Conference Call

    DENVER, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On Thursday July 17, First Data
Corp. (NYSE: FDC) will release its second quarter results.  The news release
will be available on the First Data website, http://www.firstdata.com .
    The company will sponsor a conference call at 8:00 a.m. EDT to review
second quarter 2003 results.  Charlie Fote, chairman and CEO of First Data
will lead the call.  Also participating will be Kim Patmore, chief financial
officer.
