MAUMEE, Ohio, June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Andersons, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ANDE) has appointed Arthur D. DePompei as Vice President, Human
Resources, reporting to Mike Anderson, President & CEO.
DePompei fills the position being vacated by Charles E. Gallagher who
is retiring at the end of June after 34 years with the company.
With broad and extensive human resource leadership experience, DePompei
joins The Andersons after most recently serving as Vice President of Human
Resources for Degussa Construction Chemicals, LLC in Cleveland, Ohio.
DePompei also served in the same capacity for Teledyne Fluid Systems and
Specialty Equipment in Brecksville, Ohio.
DePompei earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with
an emphasis on management and labor relations from Cleveland State
University, Cleveland, Ohio. He holds the professional designations of
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Certified Compensation
Professional (CCP).
He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Human
Resource Planning Society and World at Work. A native of Cleveland,
DePompei and his wife have two married sons, and will be relocating to the
Maumee area in the near future.
