LEXINGTON, Mass., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN)
today announced that it has appointed Neal E. Minahan general counsel of the
company. Minahan, 56, who had served as vice president, deputy general
counsel, and assistant secretary since December 1999, replaces Thomas D. Hyde,
who has accepted a position at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Previously, Minahan served as a senior vice president of Raytheon Systems
Company from December 1998 to November 1999. He also was Raytheon's deputy
general counsel for Raytheon Company from 1998 and assistant general counsel
for the company from 1990 to 1998.
Minahan holds a law degree from Boston College Law School and a bachelor's
degree in accounting from Boston College.
