GENICOM Introduces the Intelliprint(R) cL160 Color Printer
NEW YORK, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- GENICOM today introduced its new color
laser printer, the GENICOM Intelliprint cL160. Its revolutionary SINGLE-PASS
method results in color documents being printed at the same speed as
monochrome, a fast 16 pages per minute.
The inclusion of GENICOM's new, Intelliprint IV controller running at
450MHz means the cL160 quickly formulates the image and is capable of printing
the first page in around 10 seconds, at nearly half the time of competing
models. Intellifilter(R) e-form technology enables companies to print quality
documents and/or reports, with firmware residing in the printer.
Intellipress(R) takes the e-form process a stage further. The Windows(R)
compatible software allows the user to re-design forms and print outs, as well
as add logos and images resulting in higher quality documents.
The Intelliprint cL160 incorporates 128Mb of memory as standard,
expandable to 256Mb, with an option to add a 2Gb hard drive. It also includes
PCL(R)6 and Adobe(R) PostScript(R) 3. Paper handling features include a 500-
sheet in-tray and multipurpose tray as standard to support a range of paper
formats such as letter, legal, A4, A5, B5, as well as most envelope standards.
