Mobility Electronics Unveils 'Juice' - First Universal, Combination AC/DC and DC/DC Power Adapter for Notebooks and Mobile Devices

First Combination AC and DC Power Adapter for Notebooks Also
Simultaneously Powers Mobile Phones and Handhelds/PDAs,
Eliminating the Need to Carry Multiple Power Products

    SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., June 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Mobility Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBE), a leading provider of innovative
portable computing solutions for the mobile computer user, today will unveil
"Juice," the industry's first universally-compatible power adapter that
provides both AC/DC and DC/DC capabilities in a sleek, compact form factor.
Mobility Electronics is demonstrating the product to attendees of the
ShowStoppers event at PC Expo in New York City, where many of the mobile
computing industry's most exciting new products are unveiled.
Juice combines the functionality of an AC adapter and an auto/air adapter
into a single power product. It is the only mobile adapter that can power
notebooks from any power source. Juice is compatible with all major notebook
brands and plugs into any standard wall outlet, auto outlet or air outlet. In
addition to powering notebook computers, Juice can also simultaneously power a
second mobile device such as a cell phone or handheld/PDA. Juice eliminates
the need to carry a separate notebook AC adapter, notebook auto-air adapter,
mobile phone power adapter, handheld/PDA power adapter and spare batteries.
Business travelers and other mobile device users can now replace those
numerous items with a single adapter.
"Juice is the only power adapter you need, no matter where you are or what
you are plugging into," said Don Johnson, COO of Mobility Electronics. "As a
frequent traveler, I have always needed to carry multiple power products that
clutter my bags with a tangle of wires and extra weight. With Juice, I can
carry a single, compact product that powers everything I carry."
"Mobility Electronics has been a longtime leader in the notebook power
product market," said Charlie Mollo, president and CEO of Mobility
Electronics. "Last year, Mobility Electronics manufactured nearly 80 percent
of the notebook auto/air power adapters sold worldwide, under Mobility
Electronics' brand as well as numerous other brands. The launch of Juice
reaffirms our leadership position in the growing market for power products and
mobile computing devices."
Mobility Electronics will announce general availability of Juice later
this summer. Additional information about the product is available on
Mobility Electronics' Web site, at http://www.mobilityelectronics.com .
