LEXINGTON, KY UNITED STATES
LEXINGTON, Ky., June 26 /PRNewswire/ Harris Interactive(R) issues
corrections to their data found in the June 8, 2007 ISPA press release
entitled "ISPA to Release Inaugural Research on Global Spa Consumers."
-- The corrections are necessary due to projection errors that were made
by Harris Interactive. Corrected projections are found in the table
       below.

-- Only the data corrected below are affected; all other information in
the June 8 release is accurate.

-- As ISPA contracted with Harris to conduct the global research, ISPA
regrets any inconvenience this may have caused you or your media
       outlet.

"Harris Interactive accepts full responsibility for the error in the
projections that occurred as a result of a misapplication of population
estimates used to compute those projections," says Jim Quilty, Vice
President, Travel and Tourism Research Practice, Harris Interactive. "The
underlying data are accurate, including the incidence of spa-goers and the
top spa treatments, and we stand behind these findings. The survey results
were mistakenly projected to each country's total population instead of
their respective adult populations. This error in no way should reflect
upon ISPA or its partners, and we apologize to ISPA and to those in the
media who reported these inaccurate projections," concluded Quilty.
    Methodology for overall 2007 results
(Note: 2007 survey by Harris Interactive did not include Canada and
U.S.)
Surveys were conducted online among adults (age 18 and over) in Austria
(n=978), Australia (n=983), France (n=1073), Germany (n=1120), Italy
(n=1043), Japan (n=945), Singapore (n=1023), Spain (n=992), Thailand
(n=1027), and the United Kingdom (n=1113) by Harris Interactive on behalf
of International Spa Association between March 1 and 17, 2007. Figures for
demographics and internet usage for each country, except for Thailand, were
weighted where necessary to bring them into line with their actual
proportions in the general population. Results for Thailand were weighted
to represent the age and sex distribution of that country's online
population. Due to low Internet penetration in Thailand, results from the
online survey could only be projected to the online population.
Respondents for this survey were selected from among those who have
agreed to participate in Harris Interactive surveys. Because the sample is
based on those who agreed to participate in the Harris Interactive panel,
no estimates of theoretical sampling error can be calculated.
