Kronos Receives Notice of Allowance for Eighth U.S. Patent

BELMONT, Mass., June 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kronos Advanced
Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: KNOS) announced today that Kronos Air
Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kronos Advanced Technologies,
has received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark
Office indicating that its patent application entitled Voltage Management for
Electrostatic Fluid Accelerator has been examined and allowed for issuance as
a U.S. patent.
Kronos' latest U.S. patent includes an innovative electronics concept that
allows for more effective high voltage management. Utilizing innovative
electronics for voltage management allows for more efficient airflow generated
by a Kronos device with significantly less ozone production in comparison with
other high voltage based technologies. Kronos' Chief Technology Officer, Dr.
Igor Krichtafovitch, is the inventor of this proprietary technology.
The Voltage Management for Electrostatic Fluid Accelerator patent is the
eighth granted patent in a series of patent applications pending with the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office and various international patent offices
addressing various aspects of the Kronos technology. This latest patent will
provide intellectual property protection for key aspects of the Kronos'
technology until 2022.
    Kronos' intellectual property process is very much a collaborative effort;
although the process is driven by Dr. Igor Krichtafovitch, our Chief
Technology Officer, and Richard Tusing, our Chief Operating Officer, many
members of the Kronos team had either received patents (Drs. Vladimir Gorobets
and Krichtafovitch) or have patents pending (Vladimir Bibikov, Chris Martin,
Jacob Oharah and Terence Tam, and Drs. Gorobets and Krichtafovitch). In
addition to the Electrostatic Fluid Accelerator, Method of and Apparatus for
Electrostatic Fluid Acceleration Control of a Fluid Flow, Electrostatic Fluid
Accelerator for and a Method of Controlling Fluid Flow, Electrostatic Fluid
Acceleration - Power Supply Management and Control, Electrostatic Fluid
Acceleration - Electrode Design Geometries, Spark Management Method and
Device, Electrostatic Fluid Accelerator Performance Geometries and Voltage
Management for Electrostatic Fluid Accelerator patents, a number of additional
patent applications have been filed, which control and manage multiple aspects
and performance attributes of electrostatic fluid acceleration. These
additional patent applications are either being examined or are awaiting
examination by the Patent Office.
