PITTSBURGH, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company today
announced the appointment of Thomas H. Dent to the position of vice
president of European Operations for its global Nuclear Services business.
In his new position, Mr. Dent will be responsible for marketing and
execution of all of Westinghouse Nuclear Services projects for European
customers. He will be based at the company's office in Mannheim, Germany.
Mr. Dent has 32 years of experience with Westinghouse. Most recently he
directed the implementation of the company's Customer 1st operational
excellence initiative throughout the global Nuclear Services business.
Prior to that, he worked in positions of increasing responsibility in
strategic operations, steam generator operations and reactor services.
Mr. Dent holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from
Colorado State University and a master's degree in business administration
from the University of Pittsburgh. He has received five patents and six
disclosure awards during his Westinghouse career.
