Lucent Technologies Names Ryder a Top Supplier

    MIAMI, June 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R),
a global leader in supply chain, warehousing and transportation management
solutions, today announced it received the 2005 Golden Link Award for its
outstanding service as a top supplier of Lucent Technologies' Supply Chain
Networks organization.

Chain Networks as a top-notch supplier organization. This is the fourth
time Ryder has been a recipient of this award.
