DSP Group Appoints New Senior VP & Manager of DECT Division

    SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DSP Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq: DSPG), a worldwide leader in developing and providing solutions for
the residential wireless market, announced today that Mr. Inon Beracha is
joining the company as Senior Vice President, Manager of the DECT Division, a
division which DSP Group believes has substantial growth potentials in the
next few years.  He will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of the
company.
    Mr. Beracha was a Co-Founder of Ceragon Networks Ltd. where he remained
for seven years.  In his last position with Ceragon, Mr. Beracha was the
company's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to co-founding Ceragon, Mr. Beracha
was Vice President of the Electronic Research and Development Department of
the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) where he designed, developed and
managed the production of wireless communication systems.  He received the
IMOD's most prestigious research and development award, the Israeli Defense
Award.
    Mr. Beracha earned a BSc and MSc degree in Electronic Engineering from the
Tel-Aviv University.
