ANDERSON, Ind., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Successful ISO 14001 environmental
management system (EMS) maintenance audits were recently completed at two of
Delco Remy International's facilities in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, a new Delco
Remy Mexico (DRM) starter motor facility and the Remy Compenentes facility.
ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that defines the
requirements for establishing and operating an EMS.
    DRM received their initial ISO 14001 certification for the starter motors
and fabrication plants in February 2002.  Additionally, in November 2003 DRM's
alternators plant received ISO 14001 certification.
