RENO, Nev., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO)
today announced the appointment of John Ryan as director of maintenance.
Ryan will be responsible for maintaining Reno Air's aircraft. He will
direct the inspection and repair of the aircraft and oversee all planning and
record keeping functions involving the carrier's fleet of 28 fleet MD-80s and
MD-90s. Reno Air has one of the youngest fleets in the industry with an
average age of less than seven years.

and accomplishments and we are pleased to have him join our team," said Senior
Vice President Operations Bev Grear.
Ryan joins Reno Air from United Airlines where he was the regional line
maintenance manager for Denver and the Rocky Mountain Region. In addition to
the 300 flights a day in Denver, he was responsible for the performance of the
777 fleet.
John has 36 years experience in aircraft maintenance. He started as an
aircraft mechanic and worked his way through several management positions
including aircraft technical assistant and instructor. John moved to
maintenance planning and was assigned the coordination of the European and
Latin American startups for United Airlines as well as managing line
maintenance in Los Angeles.
