PORTLAND, Ore., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce G. Bryant, Columbia State
Bank Executive Vice President, was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the
Oregon Bankers Association ("OBA") during its recent convention held at
Salishan Spa & Golf Resort in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. This honor recognizes
the outstanding contributions Mr. Bryant has made to the Oregon banking
industry, his community and the State of Oregon. The award was presented by
Jesse G. Foster, Vice Chairman of Banner Bank and a previous OBA Hall of
Fame inductee.

Bruce Bryant currently serves as EVP, Retail Banking/Oregon for
Columbia State Bank. Prior to Columbia merging with Town Center Bancorp in
2007, he served as the latter's President, Chief Executive Officer and
Director. Prior to joining Town Center Bank in 1999, Mr. Bryant served as
President and Chief Executive Officer of Valley Community Bancorp in
McMinnville, Oregon from 1987 to 1999, President of Mount Hood Security
Bank in Gresham from 1981 to 1986, and Vice President and Chief Lending
Officer of Mount Hood Security Bank from 1978 to 1981.
In addition to his dedication to his customers and employees as a true
community banker, Bruce Bryant is active in community and banking
association service. He is a director of the North Clackamas Chamber of
Commerce, member and former director of the Rotary Club of Clackamas, past
Director of Willamette View, Inc., a non-profit continuing care retirement
center, and recent Director of CCI Enterprises, Inc., a non-profit
organization assisting disadvantaged workers. Bryant has also held numerous
positions in various banking association activities having served as
president of Independent Community Banks of Oregon, director of Oregon
Bankers Association and the state director for Independent Community
Bankers Association, a national banking association.
