Company-wide Reorganization Results in New Hires, New Positions
CHICAGO, July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Mary Battiste and Kelly Keane recently
joined Imagination as publishers who will lead three of five new business
units. Battiste heads up the small business group, and Keane oversees both the
technology and association groups. The positions were created as a result of a
company-wide reorganization to enhance subject-matter competence in each group
with dedicated experts in editorial, design and support staff.
Battiste, formerly of Health Newsletters Direct in Evanston, will run
Imagination's small business group, which includes clients such as Wells
Fargo, Lowe's Home Improvement, Sam's Club, Yahoo! and UPS. She supervises a
team of 10 employees and is charged with doubling revenues in that unit by
2009.
Keane, formerly of CMP Media and Reed Elsevier, heads up the technology
and association business units at Imagination. Those units include clients
such as Motorola, the Project Management Institute, the International Interior
Design Association and the Metals Service Center Institute. Keane oversees a
team of 15 and is charged with doubling revenues in the association business
unit and increasing revenues nearly sevenfold in the technology unit by 2009.
"Kelly and Mary provide the passion, leadership and business experience to
grow our business," said Jim Meyers, president and founder of Imagination.
"With their expertise and the refocused management team, I am confident we'll
continue to lead the custom media industry."
The reorganization also changed the management structure of the company.
Carol M. McCarthy, senior vice president, was promoted to the new position of
general manager; executive vice presidents Rebecca Rolfes and Douglas Kelly
were reassigned to head up Imagination's new creative overview department; and
Michelle Tyrrell O'Hagan assumes the role of vice president of marketing and
