entrepreneurs' link to resources, announces the July 15, 2004 meeting titled
"Unusual Entrepreneurial Start-ups Share Lessons Learned."

The audience will hear from clever entrepreneurs who have developed,
patented, and sold uncommon products from disposable undergarments, to an all-
purpose device for opening medicine containers, to a "Frankfurter Converter"
that cuts a hotdog to look like an octopus. Panelists Tanya Allen, President
and CEO Forever Fresh Global, LLC, Robert Mazur, President and CEO B.A. Maze,
Inc., and Ed Suer, President Octodog, Inc. will cover product development,
business development, and intellectual property protection activities, as well
as the struggles specific to marketing and selling unusual or even unheard of
products.
The meeting's featured Showcase Presenter is PaloVerde ETS. The company's
unique product is the "Hummingbird," a short commute vehicle, to transport
people and cargos in planned communities, urban centers, campuses and resorts.
David Rush, President and Co-founder of PaloVerde will be presenting the
business opportunity and funding required to produce the vehicles.
The July 15 meeting sponsor is the University of Michigan Samuel Zell and
Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. All NEF meetings
include an open forum, which is an opportunity for all attendees to introduce

The event takes place at the Holiday Inn North Campus located on Plymouth
Road at US 23 in Ann Arbor. Networking and registration begin at 5:00 p.m.
