that it received the 2004 Illinois Bank Community Service Award from the
Illinois Bankers Association during a special ceremony at their Itasca office.
The Illinois Bankers Association Bank Community Service award is awarded
to Illinois financial institutions that demonstrate the highest level of
commitment and service to their communities. First Midwest Bank was
recognized for its work with many community organizations throughout the
state, particularly its commitment to providing special programs for Hispanics
and seniors. First Midwest was one of only three banks to receive the award
this year.
