The VIP program is a global program that was first established in 2001.
Winners are selected by a global cross-functional Visteon team with input from

and Purchasing, all of which are impacted by supplier performance. Selection
criteria are focused on supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery,
value, technical capability and customer service. Award recipients must
achieve 100 percent concurrence across all customer functions and operating
regions to confirm that they have demonstrated the high level of performance
that Visteon promotes within its supply base. Supplier awards were granted
for the following areas: metals, non-metals, non-production goods and
services, electronics and transportation. Visteon also recognized an
exemplary minority supplier from North America.
