FOCUSED ON DRIVING RFID NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND EVENTS EXPANSION
MANHASSET, N.Y., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- CMP Technology, a targeted

buyers of technology worldwide, today announced that Rob Keenan has been
promoted to Director of CMP Technology's RFID World Group. In this role,
Keenan will manage CMP's RFID portfolio, which includes the RFID World 2008
in Vegas, RFID World Boston and RFID Excellence in Business Awards event.
Keenan will also be tasked with expanding the reach of RFID World brand in
the US, internationally and online.

Keenan is a veteran of the radio frequency (RF) and communication
sectors, having covered RF, wireless and networking technologies for the
past 12 years. Prior to joining RFID World, Keenan served as the
Editor-in-Chief of TechOnline, CMP's web portal for the global electronics
engineering market. Keenan was responsible for guiding the integration and
re-launch of the TechOnline network, including the launch of 14 web sites
targeted to key engineering sectors, including RF, automotive, networking,
mobile, video and industrial. Keenan has also worked as the Editor-in-Chief
of CommsDesign.com, Co-Chair of the Communications Design Conference,
Editor-in-Chief of Communication Systems Design magazine, and Managing
Editor of VerticalNet's Wireless Design Online and RF GlobalNet web
communities. He has also been a featured speaker at Networld + Interop and
the Gigabit Ethernet Conference. Keenan holds a BA in Communication from
the University of Scranton.
