PITTSBURGH, July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of
Equitable Resources, Inc. (NYSE: EQT) today declared a regular quarterly
cash dividend of 22 cents per share payable September 1, 2008, to
shareholders of record on August 8, 2008.
The Company will host a conference call with security analysts on
August 1, 2008, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The topic of the
conference call will be financial results for the second quarter 2008,
which will be released before the NYSE opening that morning. A review of
these results will be followed by a Q&A session for security analysts.
