CHICAGO, July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Burns International Services Corporation
(NYSE: BOR) today announced that its subsidiary, Globe Aviation Services, was
awarded a two-year contract from Sun Country Airlines to provide ground
handling services at the Milwaukee, WI airport, effective August 1, 2000.
Globe will provide all ramp services including aircraft cleaning, baggage
loading and unloading, and lavatory services.
Globe Aviation provides security and human resource services at
approximately 75 airports in the U.S. These services include predeparture
screening, baggage and skycap services, and cargo services.
Bill Andres, president of Globe Aviation Services, noted, "This contract
is important for us since it adds to our growing presence at the Milwaukee
airport and it is a big step forward in our strategic plan to broaden the
types of business services we provide to the airline industry." Globe also
provides security services to Midwest Express and Northwest Airlines at
Milwaukee airport.
