US Airways Fare Reductions Shine in the South

  Airline reduces fares between 19 destinations and Greenville-Spartanburg
                           International Airport.

    TEMPE, Ariz., July 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- US Airways (NYSE: LCC)
sets off another round of its celebrated fare reductions by lowering fares
to and from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to 19 popular
destinations. The fare reductions the airline is known for generate both a
positive response from customers as well as a positive revenue impact for
the airline. With this wave of fare reductions, US Airways has dramatically
lowered prices in more than 1,150 markets system-wide. Customers will see
leisure fares reduced up to 44 percent.

    This latest round of price cuts is part of a fare reduction program
that the new US Airways commenced after its merger with America West.
Destinations seeing significant reductions to and from upstate South
Carolina include eight California destinations such as Ontario and Oakland
with advance purchase fares reduced 44 and 43 percent respectively. Las
Vegas and Phoenix see reductions of 27 and 13 percent respectively. Fares
are available immediately and can be booked at http://www.usairways.com, by
calling 800-428-4322 or through a travel agent.
