Baker Provides Support to Operation Troop Appreciation

in obtaining non-profit status for Operation Troop Appreciation (OTA), an
organization started by graduate students at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate
School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, Pa.  OTA's
stated mission is to demonstrate appreciation to the armed forces serving
their country; build and maintain morale of deployed troops; provide items
deployed troops need, want, or miss from home; and communicate support and
gratitude to the troops for their service and sacrifice.  Since its July 2004
incorporation, OTA has provided requested items to over 3,000 deployed troops
in Iraq and Afghanistan, and plans to provide for 10,000 more during 2005.
