LEXINGTON, Mass., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN)
today announced the appointment of Chris Bade, 42, as vice president of
operations of Raytheon Commercial Electronics.
In this role, he will be responsible for all operational activities for
Raytheon's commercial electronics businesses, which include ELCAN Optical
Technologies, RF Components, Commercial Infrared and Raytheon Marine - High
Seas division. He most recently served as vice president of strategic planning
and business development for Raytheon.
Bade joined Raytheon in July 1999 from Textron Inc., where he was director
of strategy and business development. Previously, he was a management
consultant at A.T. Kearney Inc., and Arthur D. Little Inc. A former captain in
the U.S. Marine Corps, Bade holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College and
a master's degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
