ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Interlink Group, Inc.
(Interlink), one of the largest Microsoft service providers in the western
United States, today announced that it has been recognized with the
Information Worker Specialization award for Messaging and Collaboration and
the Partner of the Year finalist award for Advanced Infrastructure in the area
of Systems Management. These awards were presented at Microsoft's 2005
Worldwide Partner Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, an event that brings
together over 6,000 Microsoft partners from all over the globe.
The Information Worker Specialization award acknowledges a portal-based
solution that Interlink recently designed and implemented for the American
Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). The solution uses Microsoft
Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Sourcecode's K2.net enterprise
workflow software to standardize and centralize the membership association's
vast knowledge base as well as automate their purchase requisition process.
"The solution shortens the time while increasing the decision-making abilities
of our team. It promotes self service and the 'get it when you want it, how
you want it' movement which is the future of any learning organization," said
Greg Morrison, ASRT's chief knowledge officer.
The Partner of the Year finalist award for Advanced Infrastructure
recognizes a global solution that Interlink implemented for Newmont Mining
Corporation based on Microsoft Systems Management Server.
Bart Hammond, CEO of Interlink, accepted the awards on behalf of the
company. "We have differentiated ourselves with a Microsoft-centric approach
and the ability to serve up and down the stack. These awards are proof of our
rich experience in delivering innovative portal and collaboration solutions,
as well as designing and deploying even the most complex global
infrastructure," says Hammond. He also recognized Interlink's clients for
their dedication and forward-thinking approaches that make such innovation
possible.
For the past two years, the company has brought home a CRM Partner of the
Year award, another area in which Interlink excels. It has also received the
Global Infrastructure Solution of the Year award in 1999 for one of the first
Windows Server 2000 upgrades.
