RENO, Nev., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc.
(Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO) today announced the appointment of Greg Helleckson to
director of flight operations.
Helleckson will be responsible for the daily operations and the hiring and
training of Reno Air's pilots. He will work closely with the operations team
and report to Senior Vice President of Operations Bev Grear.
"Greg's background with the company as a seasoned Reno Air pilot as well
as a director flight training gives him the experience and leadership
necessary for this important position," said Senior Vice President Operations
Bev Grear.
Helleckson joined Reno Air in June of 1993 as an MD80 pilot and
transferred to flight operation in July of 1994, he then was promoted to
director training in June of 1996. He plans to continue to fly, as well as
oversee the flight operations department. Prior to joining Reno Air,
Helleckson flew for Midway Airlines and Air Wisconsin.
Dennis Mitchell, who formerly held the position of director flight
operations, has elected to return to flying full-time for Reno Air.
