CHICAGO, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Burns International Services Corporation
(NYSE: BOR), formerly Borg-Warner Security Corporation, today announced that
Terry L. Lengfelder has been elected to its board of directors.
Mr. Lengfelder began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP in 1961 as a
staff accountant after receiving a B.S. degree in Business Administration from
Washington University, St. Louis, Mo. He became a partner of the firm in 1972
and later served several terms on the Andersen Worldwide Board of Partners,
chairman in 1993 and 1994. He most recently served as Managing Partner-Global
Service Quality for Arthur Andersen until December, 1997. He is a director of
Lanoga Corporation, a building supply wholesaler and retailer in Redmond,
Wash.
He is chairman of the board of trustees for the Chicagoland Chamber of
Commerce Foundation, a member of the Executive Committee of the Chicagoland
Chamber of Commerce, vice chairman of the University of Puget Sound board of
trustees and a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern University's
Kellogg Environmental Research Center. He is also a member of the Economic
Club of Chicago.
