NEW YORK, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- In the new South Park film, Stan
Broflovski's mother forms Mothers Against Canada (M.A.C) and instigates war
with our friendly Northern neighbors as a result of the filthy language her
(already) foul-mouthed child has learned from a Canadian movie. So, what does
the other famous M.A.C think? "Make up, not war," says Makeup Art Cosmetics
(M.A.C) President John Demsey.
Famous for tolerance, M.A.C has had spokespeople like Ru Paul and kd lang.
"As a Canadian company, we have no complaints against Mrs. Broflovski or the
people of South Park," Demsey says. "Our motto is All Races, All Ages, All
Sexes -- maybe now we should include All Animation, and give this construction
paper lady a make-over. She'd probably be a lot happier with a new look."
As for the film's critical success, despite its foul language, Demsey
isn't surprised. "The movie is really funny. If people have a problem with
it, they're taking it too seriously. It is a story is about freedom of
expression, censorship and tolerance. M.A.C is all about tolerance -- we
welcome women, men, drag queens, socialites, you name it, in our stores."
