LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 13 /PRNewswire/ - Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced
that Humana Military Healthcare Services (HMHS) was named TRICARE Management
Activity's (TMA) 2005 "Contractor of the Year, Anti-Fraud Performance." This
prestigious award recognizes efforts in detecting and deterring fraud and
abuse, as well as HMHS' outstanding and continued commitment to smoking out
fraud in the TRICARE program.
The award was presented to representatives of HMHS' program integrity
department and the senior leadership team, at the TRICARE Management Activity
Healthcare Fraud Conference in Dana Point, California in June 2005. HMHS,
which has received the award three times, is the only recipient since its
inception in 2000.
