Relocated Store Showcases New Interior Design With Easy Access to Office,
School Supplies and Copy/Print Center
ITASCA, Ill., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- OfficeMax(R), one of the nation's
largest office supply retailers, will celebrate the grand opening of its new
Irving, Texas superstore on Sunday, July 18. The 20,000-square-foot OfficeMax
store located at 8150 Walton Blvd. in the MacArthur Marketplace provides a
one-stop shop for all office-related needs. The store will employ more than
35 full-time and part-time associates. The store is relocating from 4009 W.
Airport Freeway.
The first 100 customers in the store on Sunday, July 18, and Monday,
July 19, will receive free gift bags filled with store merchandise. Radio
station KDMX-FM will broadcast live on July 18 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and
will be giving away prizes. During the grand opening, customers can enter to
win a Kodak Digital Camera and Printer Dock or one of several gift cards for
use at OfficeMax.

-- FurnitureMax(R), featuring a wide variety of ready-to-assemble office
furniture and a design assistance center
-- New store interior design, more product signage and lower sight lines,
allowing shoppers to see where they want to go as they enter the store
-- Products arranged by categories, making browsing easier
-- MaxInstall(SM), providing home and office computer users with
professional and affordable computer networking and PC installation
services
Customers will find that OfficeMax employees are outfitted with wireless
headsets and can answer questions about products or services, thanks to direct
communication with information resources. OfficeMax calls this "boundless
service" -- providing faster and better customer service without departmental
boundaries.
The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. OfficeMax has named
Elvis Kinnan as the store's general manager. The store's phone number is
