T. Rowe Price Associates Foundation Names New Executive Director

    BALTIMORE, July 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The T. Rowe Price Associates
Foundation has named Stacey Van Horn executive director. Ms. Van Horn will be
responsible for directing and managing the Foundation's day-to-day activities,
including charitable giving, corporate memberships and sponsorships, and
general corporate goodwill.
    Prior to her current role, Ms. Van Horn was the manager of donor relations
at The T. Rowe Price Program for Charitable Giving Inc., an independent, non-
profit corporation and donor-advised fund which she joined in June 2001. While
with the Program, Ms. Van Horn was responsible for the day-to-day operations
of the Program, including grantmaking, donor communications, and the Program's
services. She also directed the implementation of the database that houses all
Program transactions.

    Ms. Van Horn received her BS in business from Michigan State University
and her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social
Work. She is a resident of Parkville, Md.
    Established in 1981, the T. Rowe Price Associates Foundation, Inc. is a
vehicle through which the firm accomplishes the goal of improving quality of
life at large by making charitable contributions. As of December 31, 2004, the
Foundation had more than $22 million in assets and in 2004 it made grants of
