MINNEAPOLIS, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Fitness Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: HFIT) announced today that Loren S. Brink, formerly
president and chief executive officer of the company, has been named president
of the company's business development unit responsible for sales and new
business development.
The company's board of directors has named Charles J.B. Mitchell, Jr. of
Manchester Companies, Inc. as its acting chief executive officer until such
time as a permanent CEO is named. Manchester was hired in April 1999 to assist
in the company's restructuring efforts and in the sale of the company's
freestanding physical therapy clinics and its fitness equipment business
segment.
Health Fitness Corporation of Minneapolis, Minn. manages corporate fitness
centers and hospital-based fitness centers throughout the United States, and
provides a wide range of additional preventive health care services to
corporations.
