LAS VEGAS, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- AMR Services' Las Vegas McCarren
International Airport operation was recently awarded the Air Canada
President's Award for outstanding on-time flight performance for August 1998.
The award, presented to AMR Services on March 5, was based on flight on-
time performance for each summer month -- some of the busiest, most
challenging air travel periods of the year for airlines and ground services
providers.
Air Canada named one top station in each of its eight divisions for June,
July and August. AMR Services' Las Vegas operation outperformed 10 other
airports in its division, achieving a perfect 100 percent on-time record for
August.
