"I am excited to announce this next step in the natural evolution of our
Company," said Mr. Siboni. "For the past year, I have been increasingly
focused on being out in the marketplace with our sales teams to create new
customer opportunities and drive our E.6 vision. At the same time, Karen,
Phil and Kevin Yeaman, our CFO, have been taking on more of the day-to-day
responsibilities for running the company. Today's announcement will ensure
that we continue to derive the maximum value from the talents of our
management team well into the future. We are fortunate to have maintained
tremendous continuity within this management team, with the same four people
running the company today who helped build E.piphany into a public company."
"With E.6 well on its way, this is an exciting time for the Company," said
Ms. Richardson. "We have improved our operating results for the past four
quarters by increasing our focus on the products we sell, the geographies in
which we operate, the vertical markets we serve and the organizations with
whom we partner. This focus will enable E.piphany to continue to gain market
share while maintaining our reputation for thought leadership and customer
satisfaction."
Karen Richardson, 40, has been E.piphany's Executive Vice President,
Worldwide Operations since January 2002. Ms. Richardson joined E.piphany in
June 1998 to build its sales organization and was instrumental in taking the
company from its days as a startup to a global entity with more than 470
customers. Prior to joining E.piphany, Ms. Richardson held senior sales
positions at Netscape Communications Corporation from 1995 to 1998, during
which time Netscape's sales grew from $80 million to over $500 million
annually. There, Karen drove Netscape's presence in verticals such as
Telecommunications, Financial Services and Media/Communications. Prior to
Netscape, Ms. Richardson held a variety of sales and marketing roles with
Collabra Software, Inc., Lotus Development Corporation, cc:Mail and 3Com
Corporation. Karen holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford
University.
Phil Fernandez, 42, has been E.piphany's Executive Vice President,
Products and Marketing since November 2002. He has been running E.piphany's
product development efforts since joining the company in April 1999. Before
joining E.piphany, Phil was chief operating officer of Red Brick Systems.
Earlier at Red Brick, Phil built and managed the company's worldwide
professional services organization, and served as executive vice president
responsible for product development. Prior to Red Brick, Phil held senior
