CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wachovia announced
today that Thomas J. Wurtz plans to leave Wachovia as Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) after a successor is named to the role. The company will
begin an immediate search for a replacement.
