Exmachina Will Evangelize Pulse Technology to European Design Agencies
& Corporations in France, Belgium & Switzerland
NEW ORLEANS, (SIGGRAPH 2000, BOOTH 1540), July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Pulse
Entertainment, developer of the leading technology for creating and
experiencing interactive, 3D animation on the web, and Exmachina, the leading
European digital post-production company, today announced the signing of a
marketing agreement whereby Exmachina will resell Pulse technology to
developers, designers, agencies and corporate clients in those countries and
throughout Europe.
Exmachina, an award-winning digital studio catering to the large-format
and feature film, theme park, TV and video games industries, is considered one
of the prime creators of 3D content. Millions around the world have enjoyed
Exmachina's large-format productions.
"We are making Pulse technology one of the cornerstones as we build our
Web business," said Pierre Noizat, general manager of Exmachina. "We are going
to propose Pulse Technology to our clients to project interactive content onto
the Web with a focus on 3D character creation and animation, and navigation in
3D universes. Pulse technology is currently the only product in the
marketplace that offers such a lightweight plug-in with such strong
functionality -- morphing, MP3, animation streaming, character studio support
and great integration with 3d studio max."
Exmachina first used Pulse technology to create a web character, Akinia
(http://www.akinia.com), who helps online game players solve riddles in a treasure
hunt. Akinia will shortly become an interactive character able to navigate
through her 3D world. The studio plans to leverage Pulse as it creates new
kinds of navigation, behaviors and sounds for its clients looking to extend
their brand to the online world.
"Europe is an exciting, fast-developing market open to the latest ideas in
rich media Web content for e-commerce and entertainment, and Exmachina is an
innovation leader in Europe," said Mark Yahiro, president of Pulse
Entertainment. "Pulse could not ask for a stronger, more strategic partner
than Exmachina as Europe begins to open its doors to the next generation of
enabling technology for the web."
