joined forces in an exclusive agreement to bundle Drastic Technologies' Quick
Clip DDR software application with Viewgraphics' high definition and standard
definition serial digital video adapters, VideoPump HD and VideoPump D1. Quick
Clip, a professional digital media recording and playback application, enables
VideoPump equipped NT-based computer systems to function as full featured
DDRs. Users will save on expensive production equipment, while exclusive file
compatibility features eliminate the time consuming step of re-acquiring
video.
Quick Clip captures digital media in real-time with functionality familiar
to operators of professional broadcast and production equipment. This powerful
bundle easily integrates with existing equipment delivering the highest
quality uncompressed video available. Designed specifically for broadcast DTV
acquisition and delivery, and high-end post-production applications, Quick
Clip streamlines digital media recording and playback for digital content
creation professionals. By offering the ability to control and be controlled
by an external device, Quick Clip extends VideoPump's capabilities.

Viewgraphics' VideoPump HD and VideoPump D1 adapters embrace open system
solutions through seamless integration with Windows NT and compatibility with
the QuickTime file format. Driven by an open system philosophy, Quick Clip
records and plays uncompressed QuickTime video files. These files can be
immediately accessed by any application that can import QuickTime files,
including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Boris Effects, eyeon Digital
Fusion Post, Nothing Real Shake, Ultimatte, Discreet Logic Effect and Paint,
Inscriber CG, Pinnacle Systems Commotion and Terran Media Cleaner Pro.
The VideoPump HD bundle including Clipper and Quick Clip is available this
fall for a suggested retail price of $24,000. The VideoPump D1 bundle, also
available with Clipper and Quick Clip, is priced at $6,429.
Viewgraphics also offers these bundles in a turnkey system, called the
DTV:Xstream. The DTV:Xstream integrated system includes a VideoPump HD or D1
adapter, Clipper, Quick Clip, a standard PC and high performance storage
system delivering forty minutes of storage for the HD system, or one hour of
storage for the D1 system for a suggested retail price of $57,480 and
$16,725 respectively.
