Five-year contract opens door for more than 2000 healthcare facilities and
organizations to purchase Nellcor oximetry products.
PLEASANTON, Calif., July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Mallinckrodt Inc. (NYSE: MKG)
today announced it entered into a five-year contract to provide Nellcor(R)
oximeters and sensors to members of Health Services Corporation of America
(HSCA), a national healthcare group purchasing organization.
The dual-source contract, which began July 1, 2000, encompasses over 2000
HSCA members including hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery networks
and other healthcare facilities. The contract continues Mallinckrodt's
positive trend during the last 6 months in signing agreements with group
purchasing organizations and integrated health networks.
