ELSA Announces Dual-Monitor Professional Workstation Graphics for Under $500

ELSA Synergy III Featuring Exclusive New NVIDA Technology; Provides Powerful
2D Performance, Production-Quality 3D and Dual Monitor Support

NEW ORLEANS, July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ELSA, the world leader in workstation
graphics acceleration today at the SIGGRAPH tradeshow announced the
ELSA Synergy III. Based on NVIDIA's (Nasdaq: NVDA) new Quadro2 MXR
workstation solution, ELSA Synergy III is an affordable 2D/3D graphics
workstation solution that will improve productivity for everyone from
PC hobbyists, web designers and game players to CAD and animation developers.
Additionally, the Synergy III will have on-board dual monitor support among
other advanced video features.
With up to 32MB of SDR memory and a 350MHx RAMDAC, Synergy III combines
ELSA's award-winning OpenGL technology and certified application-specific
enhancements with NVIDIA's Quadro2 MXR graphics processor to deliver extremely
fast 3D and 2D performance. The ELSA Synergy III offers pure, unified memory
frame buffer to support high-resolution, true color displays and full screen
antialiasing. With 25 million triangles per second and 400 million pixels per
second, the ELSA Synergy III will plow its way through any application thrown
its way.
"Synergy III represents a quantum leap in 3D performance for professional
graphics applications," said Charles Watson, director of product marketing for
ELSA, Inc. "Add to that dual monitor capability and customized OpenGL
application drivers, all for under $500, and you've got the new category
leader."
By having on board graphics dual monitor support, users can reduce design
time by having a content editing window on one monitor and a color palette
editor or web browser in another. Traditionally in the past, a dual monitor
solution was achieved by purchasing two separate graphics boards. With the
ELSA Synergy III, users will cut costs and production time nearly in half.
The ELSA Synergy III is designed for use with professional applications
such as AutoCAD, Dreamweaver, Lightwave 3D, Microstation, Photoshop, Premier
and 3D Studio MAX. The board is equipped with the ELSA Software Advantage,
ELSAview and ELSA POWERdraft to guarantee maximum reliability and performance.

    Professional Software Advantage
Through NVIDIA's ELSA-designed software advantage, customers take
advantage of a wide array of unique, high-performance drivers and utilities to
enable Synergy and GLoria accelerator boards to achieve maximum 2D/3D graphics
performance.
"ELSA is known throughout the software industry for their incredibly
mature and stable drivers," said Thomas Deck, international partner manager
for ELSA. "By combining ELSA's professional application focused software and
dual monitor support with NVIDIA GPU technology, the Synergy III is going to
make an exciting solution for professionals who need a low-cost productivity
platform."

    Pricing & Availability
The ELSA Synergy III AGP 32MB is expected to ship in September and will
have an estimated retail price of under $500. Also announced today is the
GLoria III, an AGP 64MB workstation graphics board featuring the
NVIDIA Quadro 2 Pro GPU. Both boards support all leading Windows platforms,
including Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0. ELSA's
workstation line can be found through the company's key distribution,
online/offline retail partners and online via http://www.shopelsa.com or by calling
