CSG(R) Data Mediation Supports Insight's Newest Service
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Leading global
customer care and billing solutions provider CSG Systems (Nasdaq: CSGS) today
announced that Insight Communications (Nasdaq: ICCI) has selected CSG(R) Data
Mediation to process customer transactions for its newest offering -- voice
services.

Insight Communications is the 9th-largest cable operator in the U.S., with
1.3 million customers across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. The
company delivers digital video, high-speed Internet, HDTV, DVR (Digital Video
Recorder) and digital phone service to its customers.
CSG Data Mediation will capture and manage network usage data for
Insight's voice services and will send information to other systems within
Insight's network to ensure that calls made by its customers are accurately
recorded and billed.
CSG will also leverage its partnership with best-of-breed interconnect
billing solution provider Integration Management to enable Insight to exchange
fees with other voice services providers for calls that Insight's customers
make over more than one service provider network. CSG Data Mediation will
monitor Insight's voice traffic to identify, format and forward information
about these calls to Integration Management's in>Bill solution, which will
enable Insight to reconcile and settle interconnect fees, including fees for
CABS (US-based carrier access billing).
In addition, Insight's agreement with CSG will enable it to add more
customer traffic to CSG Data Mediation over time as the company continues to
expand its voice services customer base.
